Join us on Tuesday, February 11th, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 for a conversation about engaging grandparents and grandchildren in your lifelong community or age-friendly organization. Although this is an extension of the “Starting Over: Grandparents Raising Grandchildren” webinar, we will broaden the conversation to include grandparents who provide short-term care (and even some ideas to engage grandparents who provide daycare or after-school care). During this conversation, we will explore how a community can start a support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren, talk about how age-friendly organizations can make non-traditional families feel welcome and supported, and hear some of the ways that communities are currently engaging grandparents and grandchildren. We are looking forward to hearing from you!– and for a lively conversation that will spark ideas to engage grandparents and grandchildren in your work!
